Reach Frost and Snow Plains

Travel to Isgale and continue into Frost and Snow Plains. These 18 positions are the second set of Isgale Sylph discoveries, added after the original Isgale route.

Each pin is bound to its own Sylph discovery quest. At the marked point, inspect nearby scenery and use the quest prompt that appears. The client records do not define one universal action for every pin, so follow the local prompt instead of assuming every Sylph must be photographed, attacked, or spoken to.

Collect the milestone rewards

Frost and Snow Plains rewards progress every three discoveries. Check your regional collection after pins 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 so you do not leave completed rewards unclaimed.

  • Find 3 Sylphs for the first milestone.
  • Continue at 6, 9, 12, and 15 Sylphs.
  • Find all 18 Sylphs to complete the final Frost and Snow Plains milestone.
Search the new Isgale regions

The client assigns every discovery quest to one of three named Frost and Snow Plains regions. Clear one group at a time to reduce backtracking across northern Isgale.

  • Snowy Pine Forest: pins 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 13, and 14.
  • Place of Pilgrimage: pins 3, 9, 12, and 17.
  • Land of Aurora: pins 4, 5, 6, 10, 15, 16, and 18.
If a discovery does not register

Move around the pin in a small circle and inspect objects at nearby elevations or behind scenery. The coordinate marks the quest trigger center, while the usable prompt can appear slightly beside it. If no prompt appears, confirm that the Sylph is not already counted before moving to the next pin.
