Guild progression priorities

A practical way to rank personal and guild-wide upgrades by cost, uptime, and the builds they actually support.

By RO Codex Team Updated
Separate personal from shared progression

Guild blessings and Aesir nodes can improve an individual character, while buildings and artifact systems can depend on guild-wide unlocks. Record both the personal material cost and the shared prerequisite so a theoretically available upgrade is not mistaken for an immediate purchase.

Choose stats that match the build

Rank upgrades by the stats and mechanics the active build can use. Physical ATK does not improve a purely magical damage profile, and a specialized target bonus may have low uptime. Defensive progression can be the better damage upgrade when it prevents deaths or lets the party maintain its rotation.

  • Confirm guild level and building requirements.
  • Compare total cost to the next meaningful level.
  • Track account or character scope.
  • Test the upgrade against the intended encounter.
Value complete paths

A cheap isolated node can be less valuable than progress toward a strong branch breakpoint. For artifacts and buildings, review the full level curve and shared unlock sequence rather than ranking only the next numeric increase.

Worked checkpoint
If three small prayer levels cost the same as the prerequisite for a major Aesir skill node, compare the immediate stat gain with the completed node path and the time needed for the guild requirement.
Coordinate scarce materials

Shared resources should support the guild’s current goals. Publish the next building or artifact target, its requirements, and which roles benefit so members can decide where to contribute without relying on an unexplained priority list.
