Prayer Windmill
To rush out of the valley, the Nausicaa tribe sent their air fleet to confront the Typhoons year after year. An adult pilot would receive a hand-made fortune windmill before his first flight. In case of misfortune, he must release the windmill at the last moment of his life and the windmill would eventually return to the valley due to the inward whirling wind. When his family receives the windmill, they would accept this heart wrenching result and stand a gravestone for him with the windmill placed in front of his name.
